Tim Conway, the six-time Emmy winner who reveled in cracking up straight man Harvey Korman on The Carol Burnett Show and flummoxed Ernest Borgnine on McHale’s Navy, died today in Los Angeles. He was 85. He had been rendered mute since undergoing brain surgery last year.
Deadline Hollywood, reported January 6, 2019: Christine McGuire Dies: Pop Singer, Radio & TV Star Of McGuire Sisters Was 92.
Christine McGuire, whose pop hits propelled her and her singing sisters to many radio and television appearances, died Dec. 28 in Las Vegas, where she lived. She was 92 and her family confirmed the death, but did not provide a cause.

Joe Stapleton, a veteran Boston traffic reporter and actor who appeared in several films including Spotlight, Manchester by the Sea and Mystic River among others, has died. Stapleton died suddenly on New Year’s Day, according to WBZ News Radio, where he had worked until his death. He was 55.
