Paul Krassner, an author and radical political activist credited with naming the Yippies, has died. He passed Sunday at his home in Desert Hot Springs, according to his daughter, Holly Krassner Dawson. He was 87.

H. Ross Perot, the Texas billionaire who became a seemingly perennial third-party presidential candidate of the 1990s, died this morning after a five-month struggle with leukemia. He was 89.
Deadline Hollywood, reported June 29, 2019: Luis Alvarez Dies: 9/11 Responder Who Appeared With Jon Stewart Before Congress Committee Was 53.
Luis Alvarez, a 9/11 responder who testified before Congress about the depleted Sept. 11 victims fund, has died at age 53. He passed away after a long battle with cancer, his family said on Saturday.
Deadline Hollywood, reported February 18, 2019: Patrick Caddell Dies: Political Pollster, ‘West Wing’ Writer-Consultant Was 68.
Patrick Caddell, a pollster for Jimmy Carter who later became a writer, consultant and co-producer on The West Wing, among other TV and film work, has died. Caddell died Saturday in Charleston, South Carolina, after suffering a stroke, Professor Kendra Stewart of the College of Charleston, told The Associated Press. He was 68.

Tony Mendez, the the CIA officer played by Ben Affleck in 2012’s Argo that won the Best Picture Oscar, has died due to complications from Parkinson’s disease in an assisted-living center in Maryland. He was 78.

Deadline Hollywood, reported November 30, 2018: George H.W. Bush Dies: 41st President Of The United States, Former VP & CIA Head Was 94.
Former President George Herbert Walker Bush has died at the age of 94. Bush, also a former CIA director and Vice President, passed Friday at 10:10 P.M. Central time, according to his official spokesperson. He had been in ill health for some time and was confined to a wheelchair.

Christopher Lawford, a veteran actor and activist whose uncles were Ted, Robert and President John Kennedy and was the son of Peter Lawford, has died. He was 63.

Lawford had dozens of film and TV credits during a 30-year acting career. He appeared in features ranging from Impulse and The Doors to Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and Thirteen Days — a Cuban Missile Crisis tale that featured his uncles JFK and RFK as characters. He also guested on such popular TV series as Frasier, Silk Stalkings, Chicago Hope and The O.C. He also appeared on the daytime soaps All My Children and General Hospital.

Deadline Hollywood, reported August 25, 2018: John McCain Dies: Maverick Senator, GOP Presidential Nominee & Vietnam Hero Was 81.
John McCain, who went from Vietnam War hero to become “the Maverick of the Senate,” died Saturday of brain cancer at his home in Phoenix at his home in Arizona. He was 81. He family had announced August 24 that he was discontinuing treatment for his aggresive glioblastoma.

CNN, reported May 29, 2018: ABC cancels 'Roseanne' after star's racist Twitter rant.
ABC canceled its hit sitcom "Roseanne" on Tuesday after the show's biggest star, Roseanne Barr, went on a racist Twitter rant.
"Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show," ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey said in a statement.

Disney CEO Bob Iger added on Twitter that "there was only one thing to do here, and that was the right thing."
