Jael Strauss, the America’s Next Top Model season 8 contestant who announced her cancer diagnosis in October and shared her short battle with the disease on Facebook, died this morning in Austin, Texas. She was 34.

New York Times, reported August 3, 2018: Rick Genest, Tattooed Model Known as Zombie Boy, Dies at 32.
Rick Genest, a model who was known for his head-to-toe tattoos and for appearing in the music video for Lady Gaga’s 2011 song “Born This Way,” has died at 32.

Dulcedo Management, which represented him, confirmed his death on its Facebook page on Thursday but did not say where or precisely when he died. He lived in Montreal.

On her Twitter account, Lady Gaga said the cause was suicide, and that it was “beyond devastating.”

BBC, reported March 12, 2018: Hubert de Givenchy, French fashion icon, dies aged 91.
French fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy, who created famous looks for Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and Jackie Kennedy, has died at the age of 91.

His partner Philippe Venet, a former couture designer, confirmed the news.

The enduring appeal of Givenchy was showcased at this year's Oscars, where Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman wore a custom design.

But the designer is best known for the "little black dress" worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's.

New York Magazine's The Cut, reported June 5, 2018: Designer Kate Spade Found Dead.
On Tuesday afternoon, CBS reported that fashion designer Kate Spade was found dead in her apartment in an apparent suicide. Reporter Reena Roy noted that “multiple police sources” confirmed the designer’s cause of death. “They tell us she left a note before hanging herself and was found by her housekeeper,” Roy wrote on Twitter. Law enforcement also confirmed the news to several outlets.

Spade, born Katherine “Katy” Noel Brosnahan in Kansas City, Missouri, was 55 years old at the time of her death. She is survived by her husband, fellow designer Andy Spade, and their child, Frances Beatrix Spade.
